Sometimes there are things you love but never get the hang of - mine is music. I have taken lessions and still have
problems with this. I have an electric guiter, a 12 string guitar, a nylon string guitar and two regular guitars. Three
are on display - that way whenever any one who can play comes over they are encoraged to pick them up and play.
I also have a keyboard - think goodnss it has a self play mode. lol
One of the hardest things that I had to learn was how to tune the guitars. I have worked with tuning forks, piano and
Qwick tuners and Fender's Auto stage tuner. I prefer the last two. However even with those I have broken many strings - reason
no one ever told me which way to turn the tunning keys to lower or rise the pitch. So listen up Turn the key counter clockwise
to rise the pitch as this tighens the string. TURN IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE TOO MUCH = BROKEN STRINGS. Turn the key
clockwise to lower the pitch as this loosens the string.
Example: If you are tuning the sixth string to a lower E ( this is the top string and the thickest string) and
the tuner screen says your on D# or B flat then you are too low (flat) and you need to tighten (counterclockwise turn) the
string to raise th pitch. If the tuner screen reads f, f# or G then you are to high (sharp) and you need to lossent
he string (turn key clockwise).
Always best to start by loosing the string ( clockwise) and slowly tighten to correct pitch (counterclockwise).

I enjoy going to concerts. I have to say I really miss the Little Nashville house in Nashville, IN. Before it burnt down
I saw Toby Keith there and it was one of the best concerts I have gone to. I am not a big concert goer but the last
one I attended was the Kenny Chesney Brother of the Sun tour. I have seem Billy Dean, Alabama ( a few times), Peter Noone
( a few times),Charley Daniels, Leann Rimes, George Strait, just to name a few.
