Happy New Year    2014!

November 23, 2014
Wow does time fly. Kat has been so busy this year painting the house and painting and working at the apartment. I had my regular vet visit in June. They put the muzzle on me because I did not like him looking at my paw. He said it was a lick glaucoma and gave Kat medicine to apply twice a day for a month. I than had to return to get it rechecked. The next day I was back in the office with a bladder infection. at had to give me medicine twice a day for ten days. She wrapped the pills in a little pocket thingy that tasted so good. We ended up going back to have the paw checked in November and now I have to wear a bootie sock when I am inside to keep me from licking the spot. I did not like the vet trimming my nails so I let Kat do it now.

The ground is still covered with snow and ice.  kat lets me inside whenever I wish  but when the sun is shinning I prefer to stay outside.
Kat and Bill wnat over to Ohio earlier this month but Chris stayed with me,
We have not been able to play on the agility course or even outside much because the snow is covered with ice. I keep braking though as I go out to the potty spot. The ice makes it hard to run and I have fallen down with a yelp a few time - but those cats keep trying to get into my yard andI have  to chase them away. There is  one old white and yellow stray that stands there and hisses at me. That meany has sharp claws!
I gave Kat a scare the other day. Bill dropped a paper sucker stick on the carpet without knowing an I grabbed it and ate it.  Kat was so worried  but she reminded calm and made me stay in my inside crate for three hours to keep me from running and to watch me. She said that she was pretty sure that the paper would disolve in that amount of time.  That was three days ago so I guess things are okay because she doesn't seem to be worried anymore.

Kat was correct it is getting colder outside but she is allowing me to stay inside as much as I want. Today it is snowing which is a bummer because Shawn and Desi were planning on coming to see us and now they will have to wait for better weather. Kat must be expecting the weather to really get bad because she moved my outside doghouse to the front porch and added a rug inside. I like sitting on the front porch better then the side one  and now I can stay where I like best when outside. Luckly for me I don't need to use that doghouse often because when it is very cold I get to stay inside. Inside I have a nice warm bed to sleep on by the fireplace and there is a nice comforter inside my crate to sleep on. Kat even added newpaper, cedar shavings and old clothes to the doghouse that the cats use. I have not figured out why she keeps those hissy little things but she tells me I should not chase them because they help keep the mice away.
