I am five now!

So much has been happening around here in the past years. Shawn has gotten married and moved away so I only see him a few times a year. Doug moved back for a while but now he has his own place in Ohio. I visited once last year with Kat but he has moved again and this new place said I can not come visit. Lucky for me it is closer to home and he comes back to see me at least every other month. Chris left too so now it is just Kat, Bill, me, and a bunch of other animals.
Bill and Kat installed a new invisible fence for me and now I can play in the back yard but I found out if I run real fast I can get past the back fence without the collar going off. This has caused me some privileges and I now have to be on leash when Kat tends the chicken or inside when they leave the property.
Oh yeah, Kat now has four chickens that make a lot of noise and I am very jealous of the time she spends with them. Why she wants them to eat out of her hand and let her hold them I will never understand. Everyone knows fur is much softer than feathers!
She also has a new cat as of August 2015 that follows her around like - well like a dog. Thank God she doesn't allow it inside the house.
And she also rescued another parakeet named Tootsie which she keeps upstairs. A friend of hers found the bird out in the cold and since no one claimed it as theirs and Sandy couldn't keep it she gave it to Kat. I have only seem it once but Kat says it is starting to calm down and getting use to her. She says it still will not allow her to touch it but doesn't go "crazy' any more when she puts her hand inside the cage.
She has Sunny and Chatty downstairs in the same room as Artemis (the snake). They both like getting treats and being played with every morning.  Artemis doesn't get out of his cage anymore because he is too big for her to handle safety but he likes to watch her on the computer and he likes music.
Kat and Bill have been doing a lot of work around the house. Kat repainted every room in the house, they built a new patio and walkway, Kat added more beds to her garden and a greenhouse, and now she is cleaning out the garage.
She told me they have to stay busy to heal. They were gone a lot last year with Bill's mother getting hurt and passing away. I don't think they are handling that and the "empty nest" thing to well. For one thing Kat is filling the place with birds! She's no old "cat lady" but turning into the " bird lady." She even had a "bird hospital" set up last winter when  Chatty got sick - have to give her credit because Chatty is now well again.
Oh, she has a new hobby - shooting! I know she has an archery ranch set up next to my agility course but now she is shooting real guns as well as pellet and air guns. She usually practices at her gun club but latterly she has been shooting at raccoons. They have been raiding the bird feeders and trying to get into the chicken coop. They have destroyed two bird feeders and Kat had to replace some trim on the coop so far she has trapped two raccoons and shot two more that were trying to steal the cat's food.
Remind me to stay on her good side and remember why dogs are taught to heal on the left side.  In case you don't know it was so that we didn't get in the way when a soldier fired his gun.
Well that's about all that has happened or at least all I can remember right now. Time for me to take another nap. Night
