I prefer the old fashion books but with space being limited  I have learned to love my nook. The problm with the nook is I forget to charge it and you can't flip quickly to the page to check something.  Also you can't read it in the pool  I still buy regular cook books. because I don't like having to wake up the nook when ever I am ready for the next cooking step.
