I tried Judo when I was in college however I had to stop after breaking my collarbone in a bike accident. I never had
the chance to start any martial arts until a few years ago when Ko's Martial Arts came to Seymour. I have my green belt but
again I was forced to stop due to a work related shoulder injury. I still enjoy the sport but can't go to
class.
Fittness has always been a part of my life. I have a complete gym in my house. Weight machine, weight bench, ab
chair, mini tampoline, punching bag, treadmill , free weights and bike. I have DVDs , videotapes
and even old vinyl records of workouts. It was hard when the doctor kept me off everything for 8 months - now it is hard to
get back onto a regular schedule.
Archery - I got my first bow when I was a child. It is a longbow and almost 50 years later I am still shooting
with it.Lately my youngest son has been shooting with me , so my husband brought me a new compound bow for my birthday.I had
it fine tuned at the shop and I love it. I have set up an archery range in the back yard.
